OĞUZELİ VOCATIONAL COLLEGE SENT OFF ITS GRADUATES

 

The graduates of the 2023-2024 academic year from Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Oğuzeli Vocational School were joyfully honored at a graduation ceremony.

Speaking at the opening of the graduation ceremony held at the Oğuzeli Municipality Conference Hall, Prof. Dr. Memet Şahin, Director of the GAÜN Oğuzeli Vocational School, wished the graduating students success and noted that the knowledge and experience they gained during their education would benefit them in every aspect of their lives. Prof. Dr. Şahin added the following in his speech: “You have successfully completed a challenging educational journey. You will take on responsibilities and duties toward yourselves, your families, your country, and all of humanity. May your path from here on out be illuminated by the light of conscience and science. An honest, hardworking, and productive person is a valuable asset. Atatürk said, ‘We need nothing else; we need only one thing: to be hardworking.’ I wish you health, peace, happiness, and success in your future lives; may your path and fortune be bright.”

Oğuzeli Mayor Bekir Öztekin, expressing his pride and joy at hosting the graduation ceremony of Oğuzeli Vocational School, stated: “Just as with other educational institutions in our country, Oğuzeli Vocational College has become an educational institution that continues to grow each year, helping to meet the need for technical and mid-level personnel that the Turkish economy has particularly required in recent years. As the Oğuzeli Municipality, we will continue to provide services that contribute to the students’ development with the utmost care. I congratulate our graduating students, our esteemed faculty, and your families who have supported you.”

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Tesnim Elbeyli, the valedictorian, expressed her pride in graduating from Gaziantep University’s Oğuzeli Vocational School and said: “The diplomas we have earned today also entrust us with very important responsibilities. Whatever work we do for our country and all of humanity under the sun, we will strive to do our very best.”

Following the speeches, diplomas and awards were presented to the top-ranking students and graduates. The ceremony concluded with the students tossing their caps into the air.
