Under the coordination of Dr. Celal Bal, Assistant Professor, and Yaşar Ede, Instructor, at the Oğuzeli Vocational School of Gaziantep University (GAÜN), students in the Occupational Health and Safety Program conducted an awareness-raising campaign on occupational health and safety in Oğuzeli as part of the Social Responsibility Project “My Workplace Is Safe Project,” an awareness campaign on occupational health and safety was carried out.
As part of the project, occupational health and safety warning signs were posted at workplaces in the vicinity of the Oğuzeli Vocational School. In addition, brochures outlining general occupational health and safety rules were distributed. Working alongside coordinators, the students provided information to workers at these workplaces while hanging the warning signs, specifically advising them to avoid any unsafe behavior while working, to comply with occupational health and safety rules, and to pay attention to the warnings on the signs.
