Under the coordination of Lecturer Zeki Sunar, for students in the Private Security and Protection Department at Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Oğuzeli Vocational School, in collaboration with the GAÜN Oğuzeli Vocational School and the Private Security Branch of the Gaziantep Provincial Police Department, and in accordance with a protocol signed with the General Directorate of Security, a shooting training session was held with the participation of 25 students.
Speaking on the subject, Prof. Dr. Memet Şahin, Director of the GAÜN Oğuzeli Vocational School, noted that this was the third time the training had been held this year and emphasized the importance of students having the opportunity to experience professional practices firsthand. Highlighting the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in practical training, Prof. Dr. Şahin said, “Fieldwork is essential for students to develop their professional competencies, and our Oğuzeli Vocational School will continue to implement practices aimed at increasing effectiveness and efficiency in the Private Security and Protection program, just as we do in all our programs,” he said.
