An event to introduce careers as enforcement directors and assistant enforcement directors was organized by Lecturer Dr. Ali Balkan for students in the Justice Program of the Department of Law at Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Oğuzeli Vocational School.
The event, led by Ramazan Furkan Er, Assistant Director of the Gaziantep Enforcement Office, was attended by Lecturer Ayşe Bahar from the Oğuzeli Vocational School’s Justice Program and students of the program.
Deputy Enforcement Director Ramazan Furkan Er, who noted that he is a graduate of the Justice Program in the Law Department at Oğuzeli Vocational School, said he was happy and proud to be back at his alma mater. Er noted that one of the most important career paths for associate degree graduates of the Justice Program is the profession of enforcement director or deputy director. He emphasized that students should take advantage of this opportunity and that those planning to enter this profession should first set this goal and study systematically for the entrance exam.
Er explained that he began working as a legal clerk while studying in the Justice Program and continued working after graduation. He noted that the knowledge he gained, particularly in the field of enforcement law, proved to be of great benefit during the subsequent professional entrance exam. He added that, as a result of his intensive study of the relevant legislation focused on the exam topics, he successfully passed both the written exam and the interview stage and entered the profession. Later in the event, information was provided regarding the general duties of the enforcement directorate profession, as well as the structure and operations of enforcement offices.
Expressing his gratitude to Ramazan Furkan Er for his sincere presentation and wishing him success in his professional life, Lecturer Dr. Ali Balkan said, “Our goal in organizing this event and inviting a former student—who graduated from our school’s Justice program, passed the deputy enforcement director exam, and began his career—was to provide a role model for our current students. We sought to provide motivation for students preparing for the Enforcement Directorate exam,” he said.
Prof. Dr. Memet Şahin, Director of the GAÜN Oğuzeli Vocational School, emphasized the importance of such events in preparing students for the period following graduation and thanked Ramazan Furkan Er for sharing his knowledge and experience with the students.
The program concluded with a question-and-answer session where questions from the students were answered.
