Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Oğuzeli Vocational School organized a conference on payment methods and industry practices in international trade for students in the Business Administration, Accounting, and Logistics departments. The event was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Özpolat and featured the participation of Foreign Trade Specialist İpek Tezel.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Prof. Dr. Memet Şahin of the GAÜN Oğuzeli Vocational School noted that such events are beneficial for students. Prof. Dr. Memet Şahin stated, “We place great importance on enhancing our students’ professional competencies. To this end, we frequently organize presentations and conferences related to their fields. Ensuring that our graduates can successfully enter the workforce is one of the primary goals of our vocational school.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Özpolat added: “It is very important to us that our students not only receive theoretical education but also have the opportunity to interact with professionals who have practical experience. In this way, we ensure they graduate with knowledge of market conditions and real-world applications.”
Foreign Trade Specialist İpek Tezel, who shared her industry experience at the conference, touched on topics such as the qualifications required to work in the field of foreign trade and international payment methods.
