Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Students from the Private Security and Protection Program in the Property Protection and Security Department at the Oğuzeli Vocational School participated in an introductory and informational update event for the KAAN project, organized by the Gaziantep Police Department and coordinated by Lecturer Dr. Ercan Yücel.
An informational and capacity-building event was held regarding the General Law Enforcement – Private Security Cooperation and Integration Project (KAAN). At the event organized by the Gaziantep Police Department, students received information directly from the implementing source and were briefed on the challenges encountered in practical applications.
College Director Prof. Dr. Memet Şahin emphasized the importance of such events in ensuring that students complete their education in harmony with real-world practice and expressed his gratitude to the General Directorate of Security and the Gaziantep Provincial Police Department, hoping that such events would continue.
