The 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony for the Oğuzeli Vocational School of Gaziantep University (GAÜN) was held at the GAÜN Mavera Congress and Arts Center.
Oğuzeli Mayor Bekir Öztekin, who congratulated the graduating students at the ceremony, noted that young people are key individuals who will shape the future of Turkey. Öztekin highlighted the importance of not only acquiring a profession but also growing into competent and capable individuals, emphasizing that young people must steer clear of bad habits, continuously improve themselves, and lead lives as productive members of society.
Prof. Dr. Tuba Direkci, Director of Oğuzeli Vocational School, congratulated the graduating students on their achievements. Noting that families and teachers had made great efforts to help the students reach this point, Direkci stated that raising a child is an important and self-sacrificing process. Expressing gratitude to the families and educators who stood by the students throughout their educational journey, Direkci noted her belief that the graduates would continue on their paths with the same determination and resolve in their future lives.
İlkay Zorpineci, the valedictorian of the vocational college, also shared in the joy of graduation and thanked the faculty members, her family, and her friends for their support throughout her education.
Following the speeches, certificates of achievement and awards were presented to the top-ranking students. The ceremony concluded with the graduates experiencing the excitement of tossing their caps.
