Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Students from the Computer Programming Program at the Oğuzeli Vocational School came together with students from Oğuzeli Piri Reis Middle School for the “Children’s Festival” event as part of the Social Awareness Projects (TDP) course.
Coordinated by Lecturer Dr. Yasin Eroğlu and Lecturer M. Çağrı Yıldız, and with the support of Lecturer Büşra Söylemez, the event saw students engaging in various educational and social activities with the middle school students.
Noting that the event aimed to contribute to the children’s physical and social development, Lecturer Dr. Yasin Eroğlu stated that they also sought to raise awareness about technology addiction and sedentary lifestyles.
Oğuzeli Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Tuba Direkçi also highlighted that traditional games carry cultural value and thanked the school administrators and teachers who contributed to the event.
