As part of the Private Security and Protection Program at Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Oğuzeli Vocational School (MYO), a conference titled “Narcogençlik Education Module: Combating Drug (Narcotics) Substance Abuse” titled “Narkogençlik Education Module.”
The conference, coordinated by GAÜN Oğuzeli MYO Lecturers Zeki Sunar and Ali Yalınız, was attended by the school administration, academic staff, and students. The program featured speakers from the Gaziantep Police Department’s Narcotics Crime Prevention Branch and the Turkish Drug and Drug Addiction Monitoring Center (TUBİM).
As part of the “Narkogençlik” educational module—prepared with contributions from the TUBİM Scientific Board—the conference covered: information was provided on the importance of combating drug-related crimes, substance addiction and its effects, methods of prevention, legal processes in drug-related crimes, treatment and rehabilitation options, and professional support centers.
In addition, participants were briefed on the UYUMA mobile app and the Narcotics Case Analysis System (NARVAS), emphasizing the importance of technological tools in the fight against drugs.
The program concluded after the participants’ questions were answered.
