As part of the Private Security and Protection Program at Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Oğuzeli Vocational School (MYO), a conference titled “Narcogençlik Education Module: The Fight Against Drug (Narcotics) Substance Abuse” was held as part of the “Narkogençlik Education Module.”
The conference, coordinated by GAÜN Oğuzeli MYO Lecturers Zeki Sunar and Ali Yalınız, was attended by the school administration, academic staff, and students. The program featured speakers from the Gaziantep Police Department’s Narcotics Crime Unit and the Turkish Center for Monitoring Drugs and Drug Addiction (TUBİM).
As part of the “Narkogençlik” educational module, prepared with the contributions of the TUBİM Scientific Board, the conference covered: information was provided on the importance of combating narcotics crimes, substance addiction and its effects, methods of prevention, legal procedures in drug-related crimes, treatment and rehabilitation options, and professional support centers.
In addition, participants were briefed on the UYUMA Mobile App and the Narcotics Case Analysis System (NARVAS), highlighting the importance of technological tools in the fight against drugs.
The program concluded after the participants’ questions were answered.
