GAÜN Oğuzeli Vocational School Holds Graduation Ceremony

The 2024–2025 Academic Year “Graduation Ceremony” for the Oğuzeli Vocational School of Gaziantep University (GAÜN) was held at the GAÜN Atatürk Cultural Hall.

Speaking at the opening of the ceremony, School Director Prof. Dr. Atilla Ahmet Uğur addressed the students, emphasizing that in today’s world, simply being qualified and graduating is not enough. He stated, “In these economic conditions where competition and freedom take center stage, no one will offer you the things you dream of. Whatever you want and whatever you love, it is up to you to go out and get it. No one will do this for you.” Prof. Dr. Uğur concluded his speech by wishing all graduates success and expressing his hope that they would continue on their paths with determination and resolve in their future lives.

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Metin Kaplan, the valedictorian of the 2024–2025 Academic Year at Oğuzeli Vocational School, expressed his great pride, saying, “After a 33-year gap, I am proud to have completed my educational journey as a graduate, which I began two years ago. Looking back, we have left two years behind us—with all their ups and downs. During this time, we formed beautiful friendships. Thanks to our instructors’ dedication and our families’ support, we have reached this day. I sincerely thank them all.”

The program concluded with a cap-tossing ceremony following the presentation of diplomas and gifts to the students who graduated and received honors.
