Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Oğuzeli Vocational School organized a technical field trip for students in the Occupational Health and Safety Program.
During the visit, the company’s occupational health and safety practices and policies were presented. At an informational meeting held prior to the field trip, the authorities, responsibilities, and working conditions of occupational safety specialists were discussed. Topics such as noise, dust control, fire safety, workplace accidents, and occupational diseases were examined.
The tour was attended by Prof. Dr. Sadettin Paksoy, Assistant Professor Derya Çevik Taşdemir, Instructor Yaşar Ede, Instructor Ziya Ersoy, Empera Carpet Quality and OSH Manager Serkan Özkalender, GAÜN graduate and Occupational Safety Specialist Emine Kalkandelen, and OSH Technician Mustafa Öztürk.
