Accessibility Statement

Gaziantep University Oğuzeli Vocational School aims to make its website (oguzelimyo.gaziantep.edu.tr) usable by everyone, including visitors with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities.

Standard

The website aims to meet Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the W3C. The site is partially compliant with this standard: most pages meet it, while the limitations listed below remain.

Accessibility tools

The accessibility button at the bottom left of every page (or the Shift + W keyboard shortcut) opens the accessibility tools. Settings are stored only in your browser; no personal data is sent to any server.

  • Appearance: contrast (dark / light), invert colours, grayscale, highlight links
  • Text: text size, line height, letter spacing, readable font
  • Navigation and reading: big cursor, reading guide and reading mask, text to speech
  • Other: stop animations, hide images

In addition, the site can be navigated by keyboard: press Tab to move between links, use the “Skip to content” link to jump to the main content, and press Esc to close the accessibility panel.

Known limitations

  • Some older announcements and news may contain images without text descriptions.
  • Some attached documents (PDF, Word) may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
  • Third-party content (maps, embedded forms, social media) is outside our control and may not meet the standard.
